Jennifer Eblin
Jennifer Eblin received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Dayton before re-enrolling and finishing a B.A. in History. During that time, she met a professor that introduced her to the world of historic preservation and helped get her started in the field, with an internship documenting historic houses in a suburb of Dayton.
She received a Masters in Historic Preservation from the Savannah College of Art and Design. While working on her degree, she also worked full-time as a surveyor for Indiana Landmarks. Personally surveying thousands of buildings, she had the chance to meet homeowners and hear their stories directly, which fostered her passion for the topic.
Since leaving the organization, Eblin has devoted herself full-time to the world of writing. Focusing on history, architecture and haunted places in the Midwest, she has a small group of followers reading her material. In addition to histories and haunted places, the writer also has a fondness for auto racing, in particular, NASCAR. She's a regular contributor to The Biff Files, NASCAR Stalker, Skirts and Scuffs and serves as the Kevin Harvick Examiner. She also maintains YA Revisited, a blog devoted to books for teens and young adults and is the author of Haunted Miami Valley, a book devoted to haunted sites in Ohio.
